Submission Requirements

This year, submissions will be accepted from colleges and universities around the country. Films must be less than ten minutes long and fall under the categories of either animation/digital media or film narrative/live action. Feel free to submit any film you have made within the last school year. You may submit more than one, so long as each includes the submission fee and submission form detailed below.

Submissions must be received by Friday, May 7th. If you mail your film, we recommend postmarking it by Monday, May 3rd. UCLA students may physically deliver the film to the CEC office in Kerckhoff 319. As soon as we open your package, a Campus Events staff member will send you a confirmation email to notify you that your submission has been received and that it meets our submission requirements.

A Campus Events viewing committee will review all submissions and select the top films in both the live-action and animation categories for judging by the industry judges. Finalists will be announced on Thursday, May 13th.
